Welcome to Odoo’s Technical Training. This training lays out the groundwork
for Developing in Odoo and building trailed features to specific requirements.

your account manager or customer success manager will be able

At the end of this course you will be able to:

❏ Understand the Odoo Design concepts and Odoo Architecture
❏ Develop a new Odoo modules/application/features and Odoo Websites
❏ Write external integration with Odoo using Odoo Web Services
❏ Helps estimate development estimates
❏ Helps with project planning with developments
Training Logistics and Schedule:
This Training is designed to be a ten business day training course (monday to
friday). Participants are expected to invest four hours every day to complete
the training in a planned schedule.
The Training is divided into a day by day course. Each day, you will have
roughly one hour of videos and two hours of exercises. This will be followed by

a one hour collaborative group consulting session for scheduled training
days.
The collaborative group consulting session will be led by a member(s) of the
Technical Team at Odoo. The participants can ask questions related to the
Training training course and material. It will be a group session and there will
be like minded professionals in these trainings.
We recommend taking notes during the Videos and while doing the
Exercises. Anything you are unsure of can be asked during the collaborative
group consulting session.

Doing your homework and exercises is highly recommended, and we would
expect that everyone has finished the days given training exercise before
joining a collaborative group consulting session. Exercises are designed to

give hands on experience of Odoo development
At the end of course you will have Odoo modules/applications that you
developed and also practical experience of how to customize Odoo and the
time required for the development of the given requirements.
Note that: this Technical Training does not cover Website Themes,
Odoo
Widgets, or Client Side Development (owl framework / website javascript).
However, after completing this training developing Website Themes, Odoo
Widgets, or Client Side Development should be relatively easy to master.
We hope this course will help you get started with developing in Odoo.
